Security Talent Coordinator - Central Office - Decatur, GA (ADM)

Juvenile Justice, Georgia Department of - DJJ is seeking a Security Talent Coordinator to oversee recruitment and retention specialists. The role involves setting team goals, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating recruitment efforts to align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Supervise part time recruiters
Develop recruitment calendars and spreadsheet
Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates, including outreach, sourcing, and advertising plans. Oversee job posting processes, recruitment events, and partnerships with recruitment agencies or job boards. Collaborate with department heads to ensure hiring strategies meet organizational needs
Analyze turnover rates and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement in retention efforts. Work closely with HR to address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment
Track and analyze recruitment and retention metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction. Prepare reports and present findings to HR leadership and senior management, using data to recommend adjustments to strategies. Monitor industry trends and competitor practices to stay updated on best practices in recruitment and retention
Identify areas where recruitment and retention processes can be streamlined or improved for greater efficiency. Implement tools and technologies to optimize applicant tracking, onboarding, and employee engagement. Develop standardized procedures for interviewing, selection, and retention to ensure consistency
Ensure recruitment and retention practices comply with employment laws and company policies. Educate team members on diversity, equity, and inclusion standards and ensure these principles are incorporated into hiring and retention strategies. Review job descriptions, qualifications, and screening processes to maintain legal and ethical standards

Required

Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience related to area of assignment
Or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 2 (GSP131)
An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year

Preferred

Analytical skills to assess metrics, understand workforce trends, and improve retention
Familiarity with recruitment software and Human Resource tools
Knowledge of labor laws, diversity and inclusion practices, and industry recruitment standards
Ability to perform statewide travel
Associate's degree in a related field
2 or more years of experience with Recruitment
