UC San Diego Health is dedicated to serving its communities through innovative research and medical education. They are seeking a Website and Graphic Design Specialist responsible for managing website content and designing marketing materials to support the School of Medicine's mission.

Health Care

Responsibilities

Conduct day-to-day website edits for the School of Medicine’s website to ensure timely updates and accurate content
Write and expand website content in collaboration with the communications team and School of Medicine stakeholders
Build new pages for key areas such as research and graduate education
Ensure all website content adheres to accessibility requirements
Assist the school departments in website design and updates as needed
Contribute to the design of marketing materials, including infographics, flyers, branded promotional products, and signage
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Six (6) years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two (2) additional years of experience
Expert knowledge of website usability concepts
Demonstrated ability to design web application user interfaces
Good organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to write copy for digital platforms and websites
Experience with Google Analytics and SiteImprove
Expert proficiency in WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Basic knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, techniques and practices
Basic knowledge of the campus and / or medical center, including its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure
