Responsibilities

Lead provider sourcing activities for specified specialties to ensure open provider positions are filled efficiently with qualified candidates
Source, screen, and refer quality providers to the health system, including mining and review of candidate CVs, cold calling, database review and entry, and conducting extensive phone interviews with potential providers
Post jobs through internal and external databases, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified passive and active candidates
Assist with the generation and implementation of new, streamlined recruitment processes, initiatives, and key messaging
Serve as the first point of contact in the candidate screening process and formally introduce the provider to the Recruiter
Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure all jobs are accurately posted on the corporate website, track candidate information, and implement sourcing strategies
Accountable for the opening and hand-off of the Provider Interview process
Collaborate with the Director/Recruiter to create recruitment strategies for assigned specialties, including internal and external website utilization, marketing initiatives, and professional association engagement
Collaborate with Recruiters to complete the Opportunity Profile process, ensuring all relevant position information is accurate, up-to-date, and posted in the ATS
Participate in strategy meetings with key stakeholders as needed to collect additional information for the Opportunity Profile
Participate in bi-weekly and monthly group calls and assigned work groups to provide feedback and offer best practice suggestions
Communicate with leadership and Recruiters regarding process, provider opportunities, and candidates in the pipeline
Strategically utilize staffing agencies and external search firms, serving as the liaison between recruiters and these external partners
Manage all candidates presented to hospitals and ensure that firm presentations are detailed and accurately completed
Participate in local and national recruitment/networking events and meetings as appropriate

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience is required
Two years of Provider sourcing experience required
Demonstrated sourcing and lead generation skills
Demonstrated ability to work under stressful situations
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Effectively functions as a liaison among recruiters, physicians and administration
Uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude constantly
Consistently demonstrates maturity for accountability of job performance
Conducts business in a professional and cordial manner that upholds the integrity and reputation of Mount Nittany Health
Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations as they relate to the management of staff
