Responsibilities

Providing expert advice and support to our customers on all data protection-related matters, in particular under GDPR, BDSG, and TDDDG
Supporting the setup, operation, and continuous improvement of Data Protection Management Systems (DPMS/DSMS) and data protection governance structures
Assisting customers in implementing key data protection requirements, in particular:
Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs)
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Data protection policies and internal processes
Advising on the design of data protection-compliant business processes and organizational structures
Conducting data protection analyses, gap analyses, and maturity assessments, mainly remotely and occasionally on-site
Taking on the role of external data protection advisor for selected customers
Supporting customers in using the Digital Compliance Office (DCO) and translating legal requirements into efficient, automated workflows
Actively shaping and further developing our data protection modules within the DCO (e.g. content, templates, workflows, automations)
Working closely with Customer Success, Product, and Expert teams to ensure high service quality and continuous product improvement

Required

Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Recht, Wirtschaft, IT oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation durch relevante Berufserfahrung
Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung im Datenschutz, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt DSGVO
Erfahrung in der Beratung von Kund:innen, z. B. als externe:r Datenschutzbeauftragte:r, Consultant oder in einer Inhouse-Datenschutzrolle
Fundiertes Verständnis von Datenschutz-Governance, DSMS-Strukturen und operativer DSGVO-Umsetzung
Sehr gute Kenntnisse der DSGVO; Grundkenntnisse angrenzender Regulierungen (z. B. TDDDG, AI Act) sind ein Plus
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mind. C1) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse – sicher in Kundenterminen und schriftlicher Kommunikation
Hohe IT-Affinität und strukturierte Arbeitsweise; Erfahrung mit Tools wie Confluence, HubSpot oder Jira ist von Vorteil
Selbstständige, zuverlässige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise in einem SaaS- und prozessgetriebenen Umfeld
Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Kundenorientierung und echter Teamgeist

Preferred

Relevante Zertifizierungen (z. B. Datenschutzbeauftragte:r, GDPR Practitioner, CIPP/E) sind von Vorteil, aber keine Voraussetzung
