Chief Engineer - Cyber Solutions

Responsibilities
Define and champion the technical strategy for cyberspace operations (OCO/DCO/NetOps)-focused programs and growth opportunities
Shape solution concepts during pre-capture and capture phases, influencing requirements, architectures, research & development, implementation approaches, and transition-to-delivery planning
Translate both explicit and inferred Government operational needs into architected and implementable technical solutions. These solutions serve as key assets for our team to engage clients, build confidence, and actively shape the direction of future opportunities
Demonstrate expertise in leveraging diverse toolsets—from CRM (Salesforce) and Market Intelligence (GovWin) to Generative AI prompting—to accelerate solution design and proposal generation
Lead development of technical win strategies, discriminators, and solution narratives in coordination with Business Development and Capture teams
As an individual contributor or leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architect, implement, and operationalize solutions
Serve as the primary technical authority for proposal development, including solution architecture, technical volumes, and engineering approaches. Actively lead and support oral presentations, live technical demonstrations, and Government technical evaluations
Establish and maintain enterprise and solution architectures supporting secure, scalable, and resilient cyber solutions. Ensure architectures are executable and align with delivery constraints, staffing models, and operational realities
Translate mission, business, and security requirements into actionable technical designs, developing roadmaps and leading implementation through delivery to create cost effective solutions for mission critical projects
Guide architectural governance, ensuring consistency, compliance, and technical integrity across programs and proposals
Evaluate solution alternatives through trade studies, risk assessments, and cost-performance analyses to support bid decisions
Provide senior technical oversight to delivery teams, integrators, and subcontractors to ensure architectural alignment during execution, including post-award transition and early program execution
Partner with cybersecurity, engineering, and program leadership to ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements
Communicate technical strategies and solution value clearly to executive leadership, customers, and external stakeholders, including live Government briefings and technical defenses

Qualification
Required
United States citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
One of the following education and experience combinations: + Bachelor's degree with eight years of relevant experience. + Master's degree with six years of relevant experience. + Associate's degree with ten years of relevant experience. + High school diploma or equivalent with twelve years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in senior engineering, cybersecurity architecture, or solution architecture roles with direct accountability for implementation and delivery outcomes
Strong working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and secure system design methodologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write extensively and compellingly on engineered and implemented solutions in support of proposals, briefings, or marketing materials
Proven experience architecting and implementing cybersecurity solutions across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, applications, and data environments
Deep understanding of federal information technology standards, NIST frameworks, and security compliance requirements
Practical experience applying Zero Trust principles, risk management frameworks, and resiliency strategies in operational environments
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Preferred
Experience supporting cyberspace operations-focused Department of War programs associated with United States Cyber Command
Demonstrated success leading technical capture efforts and proposal development, including oral presentations and live technical evaluations
Familiarity with government acquisition processes and competitive procurements
Professional certifications such as The Open Group Architecture Framework, cloud architecture, systems engineering credentials, and/or cybersecurity credentials like CISSP
