Responsibilities

Partner with the CIO and business unit heads to define and execute the company's application strategy and roadmaps in support of business growth and digital transformation goals
Lead the full lifecycle of business-critical applications, ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with user and business requirements
Develop and enforce modern application and data architecture principles, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
Serve as the connection point across IT, data, and business domains, ensuring that systems and data platforms are cohesive, interoperable, and value-generating
Drive complex, global IT initiatives with clear planning, strong governance, and business alignment—delivering impactful results on time and within budget
Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating strategic needs into prioritized IT and data initiatives
Enhance internal development and deployment processes, from ideation through production support, to increase agility and scalability
Define KPIs and track performance across all applications initiatives to ensure accountability and measurable impact
Oversee test planning, execution, and cutover activities to ensure a seamless implementation
Willing and able to travel as needed to global manufacturing sites and business units

Required

20+ years in technology leadership with proven success driving complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
Deep expertise of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.), and integration best practices. Experience and track record of SAP migrations and transformations
Expertise in Salesforce CRM platform and applications
Proven experience deploying enterprise solutions in areas such as HR, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial, and internal operations
Expertise in key applications for QMS, PLM, MES, CRM, HR, Finance
Deep knowledge of application architecture, cloud/on-premise environments, and enterprise systems integration
Strong balance of leadership and hands-on implementation; ability to translate vision into practical outcomes
Willing and able to travel as needed to global manufacturing sites and business units

Preferred

Experience leading global application initiatives within biotech and/or bioprocessing industries strongly preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (relevant industry experience may substitute)
SAP and Salesforce certifications are a significant asset
