2026 Full-time - Software Security Engineer 1 - Onsite (AZ)

They are seeking a Software Security Engineer to design, develop, and test real-time missile software applications, applying System Security principles and working with an Agile Scrum process.

Responsibilities
Learn and apply System Security principles to the design and implementation of Missile software applications
Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms
Understand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations
Work closely with the Systems Security Engineering team to define and implement requirements
Work in a common development environment to support and facilitate program ability to leverage specific capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding Internships)
Experience with C / C++
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Preferred
Experience/Knowledge of any of the following:
Linux/Unix environment
FPGAs
Inter-processor communication
ARM Architecture
Secure boot concepts
Cryptographic Algorithms or Concepts
Embedded Software and or Hardware
Embedded Operating Systems - VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar
Agile and DevSecOps environments
Configuration Management Tools - Git
Python or similar languages
