Responsibilities

Draft, revise and format pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other various litigation legal documents
E-file at state, federal court and appellate courts
Assist with trial preparation and management of calendars for deadlines
Liaise with clients, attorneys, internal lines of business, vendors and court employees
Opening new files, preparing conflicts checks and drafting engagement letters
Billing and time entry

Required

At least 3 years of litigation legal administrative assistant experience
State and Federal e-filing experience required
Proficient with MS Office Suite, including advanced use of MS Word (including redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, Table of Contents and Table of Authorities creation and manipulation, and hyperlinks)
Must be open to hybrid schedule and overtime when needed

Preferred

Associate's Degree highly preferred
Proficiency in the use of document management systems (iManage preferred)
At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary supporting Litigation Attorneys
Formatting litigation documents
Trial prep
Filings with the courts
Associate's degree
