Summer Intern - Law Clerk
Union Pacific Railroad is seeking Summer Interns for their Law Department, providing law students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in various legal areas. Interns will assist in-house lawyers with research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for hearings or trials.

Responsibilities
Support attorneys on contractual drafting and review
Support attorneys by providing statutory and regulatory interpretation and application
Draft legal memoranda and pleadings
Support attorneys in hearing or trial preparation
Review work product and discovery documents to determine relevance to legal strategies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in accredited law school
Advanced communication skills
Experience working/completing course work in Legal Research
Preferred
This position requires extended periods of sitting and extended hours in front of computer screens
Maintain concentration, focuses on tasks and can make timely decisions
