Responsibilities
Participate in month-end close process
GL accounting, journal entries, analyze accounts, and prepare supporting documentation
Understand and analyze variances for client P&L accounts
Perform SOX review of billing files and invoice requests
Be Finance point of contact for client Account team members
Respond to internal and external clients’ information requests
Implement continuous process improvement in all areas of the department
Additional projects as necessary
Participate in internal and external audit
Qualification
Required
MS Office and Accounting System experience required
Degree in Accounting/Finance required
1+ years of accounting experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to quickly learn and back up other accounting positions on multiple tasks
Must be comfortable interfacing with employees outside of the office at other locations, via phone, email and web meetings to gain understanding and obtain information to complete monthly tasks
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personnel across multiple functions
Able to work with a sense of urgency without hands on supervision
Able to display initiative & take ownership of problems
Must be a strong team player, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required
Preferred
SAP experience a plus
