Senior LevelMcElroy Metal is a leading manufacturer of metal roofing and siding, and they are seeking a Senior Credit Representative to analyze accounts receivables and determine the creditworthiness of potential customers. This role involves collecting payments on delinquent accounts and supporting the Corporate Credit Manager with reporting.

Responsibilities
Evaluates aging accounts receivable, and effects procedures to collect monies on delinquent accounts
Makes recommendations on opening new customer accounts by researching and evaluating bank references, trade references, credit reports, and other documents that would prove credit worthiness
Recommends raising existing customer credit limits by screening, identifying, and evaluating accounts
Works closely with all retail locations
Develops an understanding of construction lien laws
Assists the Corporate Credit Manager with monthly reporting
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability and willingness to travel and meet customers throughout the country
Preferred
Three hours in accounting-related courses, or equivalent
JD Edwards experience
