Responsibilities
Manage and drive projects to advance research and development according to a delivery plan
Monitor progress, identify problems, facilitate resolution, and implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track towards completion
Regularly report on project progress, dependencies and risks to the team and stakeholders
Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects
Manage procurement projects for equipment and vendor services
Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and take on operational tasks in support of the team's goals
Qualification
Required
Work experience in research project management with a track record of successful project completion
Interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Proactive with ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with team members and individuals throughout the broader organization
Strong organizational and time management skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, (Audio) Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field
Preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced research and/or product development environment
Experience with programming languages such as Matlab, Python, C++, Max/MSP or similar
Experience with spatial audio, binaural audio, and audio signal processing
Experience with user experience studies
