Technical Account Manager
Rancher Government Solutions is focused on addressing the unique security and operational needs of the U.S. Government and military regarding application modernization and containers. As a Technical Account Manager, you will provide exceptional customer guidance and support for SUSE Rancher software products, ensuring a successful experience for government agency clients throughout their engagement lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for government agency customers, understanding their technical needs, challenges, and goals
Provide expert-level technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and proactive support on SUSE Rancher software products
Create and present product demos to customers as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customers' requirements and align with their business objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their organizations and assisting in their long-term success with SUSE Rancher products
Conduct regular account reviews, deliver product updates, and recommend enhancements to optimize customers' usage and achieve desired outcomes
Actively identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion of SUSE Rancher software within existing accounts
Collect and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, training materials, and best practices to support customers in effectively utilizing SUSE Rancher software

Qualification
Required
A Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in a technical account management or customer-facing role, preferably within the software industry
Desired to have a strong technical background in SUSE Rancher software products, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies
Experience in DevSecOps in general, with an emphasis on Kubernetes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer success and satisfaction
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of government sector regulations, processes, and compliance requirements is a plus

Strong Linux knowledge
