Responsibilities
Proxy leadership & decision support:
Represent the Transformation Director in PMO checkpoints and stakeholder sessions; take decisions within agreed guardrails and prepare escalations with clear options and impacts
Work with Transformation Director to author concise executive narratives and SteerCo materials; test recommendations and trade‑offs ahead of senior forums
Align Customer Delivery Leads and consulting partners; synthesize inputs into clear actions and communications
Work with Transformation Director, Regulatory, Delivery Leads, and the Client to align migration plans to meet expectations of state utility regulators
Delivery rhythm & PMO operating system:
Work with the Client and Partner teams to build and maintain the program’s operating system: dashboards, RAID, dependency maps, action trackers, weekly status, and SteerCo packs
Publish accurate updates and decision notes; keep Notion as the single source of truth
Client PMO relationship & communications:
Act as the day-to-day interface with the Client PMO working team; align scope, timelines, risks and decisions; unblock issues quickly with partner PMOs
Anticipate stakeholder needs; surface insights from data, flag risks early and present actionable options
Support the client PMO with materials for multiple reporting and decision forums and augment client PMO capability where gaps exist
Cross-domain coordination & dependency management:
Identify cross-team dependencies required to land outcomes; coordinate handoffs and timelines (including APIs/integrations)
Maintain a living view of dependencies, status and owners; drive timely closure and ensure readiness for leadership reporting
Quality, standards & end-to-end readiness:
Work with the Transformation Director to promote consistent standards for reporting, security and documentation across contributing teams
Coordinate end-to-end validation so leaders see a single, coherent story each week
Documentation & Knowledge management:
Create and maintain cross-team documentation within Notion that explains how the program runs—for internal and client audiences
Key operating principles for this role:
Proactive communication: Regular, transparent updates on progress, risks and dependencies
Facilitation & mediation: Drive productive forums and resolve disagreements quickly
Systems understanding: Connect the dots across platform domains and implementation teams
Relationship building: Earn trust with engineers, product, client delivery and the client PMO
Focus on user value: Anchor decisions in customer outcomes
Pragmatism & problem-solving: Bias to action and practical solutions

This is a supporting role to the Transformation Director; the Director remains accountable for overall program success while the Transformation Program Lead provides the operational and program-level execution and support required for large utility transformations
