Mid LevelDiversified Recruitment Services, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a technical resource for machining and production teams. The role focuses on maintaining and improving manufacturing performance by resolving equipment and process issues while supporting new machining programs and driving operational improvements.

Responsibilities
Act as a shop-floor engineering resource to address machining, tooling, and equipment challenges
Support the setup, optimization, and validation of new machining processes and equipment
Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to enhance machine performance and reduce unplanned downtime
Develop and refine fixtures, tooling, and workholding solutions to support machining requirements
Lead investigations into process variation, defects, or equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions
Contribute to preventive maintenance strategies and technical standards
Support equipment purchases, installations, and production readiness activities
Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard practices
Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background
Several years of experience supporting machining or CNC-based manufacturing operations
Strong hands-on exposure to CNC machines, lathes, and related production equipment
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues
Experience designing or modifying tooling, fixtures, or machining aids
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies
Ability to communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and engineering peers
Organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
