Elevation Marketing is a mid-sized, full-service B2B-only marketing communications agency based in Gilbert, Arizona. They are seeking a Director of Client Development with proven experience in driving new business within a marketing or advertising agency, focusing on building relationships and closing high-value B2B engagements.

Responsibilities
Follow up on a consistent flow of inbound leads generated through Elevation’s organic and paid marketing efforts, we practice what we preach
Proactively develop pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting
Build and nurture relationships through phone, email, in-person meetings, and industry events
Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and marketing gaps
Shape programs and solutions in collaboration with strategy, creative, digital, PR, and account teams
Present Elevation’s capabilities and point of view with confidence and credibility
Lead or support discovery calls, RFP responses, proposals, and pitch presentations
Close new business and transition signed clients smoothly to the account services team
Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and relationship tracking in the CRM
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success closing new business within a full-service marketing or advertising agency
Strong understanding of both digital and traditional B2B marketing
Consultative, strategic selling mindset
Confidence engaging senior-level client stakeholders
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
Comfort owning pipeline development, deal strategy, and close
CRM discipline and sales process rigor
Ability to be perceived (bring value) as a marketing consultant first, one who exists to solve marketing problems and not be perceived as just a sales person
Preferred
A former agency owner or operator who enjoys business development but no longer wants to run an agency day-to-day
A senior agency business development leader with a strong track record of closing net-new clients
