Benefits Administrator
RIGID is seeking a Benefits Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and support of the company’s employee benefits programs. This role involves educating employees on benefit offerings, assisting with enrollments, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Administer and support employee benefit programs, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, leave programs, PrimeCare, and wellness initiatives
Explain benefit offerings to new and existing employees through orientations, one-on-one consultations, and group presentations
Assist employees with benefit enrollments, open enrollment, qualifying life events, and terminations in accordance with plan rules and deadlines
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing clear, accurate, and timely guidance
Facilitate and support disability claims (short-term and long-term), including coordination with employees, managers, payroll, and third-party administrators
Manage the PrimeCare program, including employee education, enrollment support, vendor coordination, and issue resolution
Manage and support the company’s Wellness Program, including communications, participation tracking, and coordination with internal and external partners
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, contributions, and reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits data in HRIS and benefits administration systems
Liaise with benefits vendors, brokers, and carriers to resolve issues and ensure effective service delivery
Assist with benefits compliance requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and applicable state regulations
Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to benefit plans
Prepare and distribute benefits communications, summaries, and educational materials
Participate in benefits renewals, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and benefits-related information
Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and enhance operational efficiency, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to evolving responsibilities

Preferred
Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations
Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Proficiency with HRIS, benefits administration platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
Analytical skills to support reporting, audits, and reconciliations
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Three (3) or more years of experience administering employee benefits programs
Experience working with health and welfare plans and retirement plans
Prior experience in a corporate or in-house HR environment preferred
Prior experience with PrimeCare is a plus
Professional certifications such as CEBS, SHRM-CP, or PHR are a plus
