Sr. Compliance & Ethics Analyst

The Senior Compliance & Ethics Analyst will support the Compliance & Regulatory function by executing a comprehensive monitoring program and assisting with compliance training and transparency-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Support the implementation and deployment of field-based teams by coordinating compliance onboarding, assisting with training delivery and documentation, and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, EVERSANA policies, and client-specific compliance standards
Conduct free-text monitoring of email, CRM call notes, and field coaching reports using RelativityOne, serving as the initial reviewer to identify and escalate potential risks, behavioral trends, or compliance concerns that inform oversight and support continuous improvement
Participate in live and virtual field ride-alongs to observe field interactions, assess adherence to promotional guidelines and compliance expectations, and document findings to support escalation, remediation, or training follow-up
Track compliance performance indicators and identify patterns that inform program insights, training opportunities, or risk mitigation actions across assigned programs
Compile data for compliance dashboards that summarize monitoring outcomes, issue trends, training status, and escalation activity. Contribute to the preparation and presentation of materials for client governance meetings and internal compliance reporting
Support tracking of state and local licensing, registration, and disclosure requirements by helping ensure timely completion, escalating delays, and maintaining documentation accuracy
Support transparency monitoring activities by tracking issues and potential violations related to spend and HCP engagement records, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with field personnel and sales leadership to resolve outstanding items in accordance with applicable reporting requirements
Track completion of required training and assessments to confirm compliance prior to field deployment and ongoing adherence to annual and refresher training requirements
Assist with field-facing compliance communications, collect emerging themes from field inquiries, support leadership touchpoints, and help coordinate Compliance Champion activities to reinforce expectations and a speak-up culture
Maintain awareness of relevant compliance regulations, industry codes, and policy updates and apply insights to monitoring, training, and process support activities
Support documentation and tracking of root causes for identified compliance concerns and contribute to follow-up actions that mitigate future risk
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
5 years of experience in compliance, monitoring, regulatory operations, or related roles in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
Working knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws, industry codes, and compliance standards applicable to pharmaceutical field activities, including FDA, OIG, PhRMA, AdvaMed, and state-level transparency and disclosure laws
Demonstrates the ability to review written communications and identify potential compliance risks, patterns, or behavioral trends requiring escalation or further evaluation
Familiarity with transparency reporting processes and tools; able to track HCP spend, monitor for discrepancies, and support resolution in alignment with state and federal requirements
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and summarize data trends or monitoring outcomes clearly
Experience supporting compliance training and broader initiatives, including live session facilitation, content customization, and coordination of onboarding, training, or monitoring activities involving field-based and virtual teams in the life sciences industry
Process-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous compliance improvement
Effective written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing reporting materials and engaging cross-functionally with field teams and internal stakeholders
Ability to interpret and apply compliance policies, SOPs, and client-specific requirements to support monitoring, training, and risk mitigation activities
Demonstrated ability to contribute to compliance dashboards, governance reporting, and meeting preparation with a strong focus on data accuracy, visual clarity, and alignment with stakeholder expectations
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with peers, field personnel, and compliance leadership
Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential compliance or customer-related matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva), expense systems (e.g., Concur), and learning management systems
