Responsibilities
Ensure efficient material flow and optimal material utilization throughout operations
Foster positive working relationships among employees, management, and self by addressing personnel issues, enforcing company policies, safety regulations, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of new employees
Train, assign, and instruct employees on proper use of machines, tools, and job requirements
Support cost-of-goods objectives by identifying, reporting, and correcting issues that contribute to cost overruns
Plan and oversee production across departments in accordance with scheduled ship dates and product specifications, maximizing productivity and quality while ensuring a safe work environment
Promote a 'No Lost Time' accident culture and ensure all required safety training is completed and maintained
Provide employees with efficient tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform their work effectively
Coordinate with manufacturing to schedule work and promptly communicate any potential delays
Lead by example while promoting teamwork and accountability across the department and plant
Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels of raw materials
Minimize production downtime through proactive planning and issue resolution
Ensure production and quality reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
Review employee timecards daily to ensure accurate hour allocation and payroll processing
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization throughout the facility
Support proper equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing operation
Basic Mechanical Skills
Ability to mentor production associates

Bachelor's degree preferred
