CEI Senior Bridge Inspector

Responsibilities

Being fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the building construction to include masonry work and familiarization with the local and State building codes and ordinances
Performing under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
Relying on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Setting own project deadlines
Providing on the job training to new employees
Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Performing daily field inspections and maintaining inspection records
Participating in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
Tracking quality assurance progress
Providing input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance and timely resolution of issues
Conducting regular safety inspections and enforcing safety protocols on construction sites
Reviewing and interpreting complex construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Preparing detailed inspection reports and maintaining accurate project documentation
Participating in project meetings and providing expert advice on construction methods and materials

Required

High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
US Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work
Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

Preferred

Experience in inspection of building construction
Experience in performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting fields test
Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction

CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
