Accounting Associate

Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is dedicated to improving the quality of life through charitable giving. The Accounting Associate will provide high-level support to the Finance Department, handling financial reporting, contributions, and general ledger maintenance.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Provide high-level support to the Finance Department
Maintain, monitor, and report financial and accounting information in adherence to Community Foundation policies and procedures
Process contributions, accounts & pledge receivable, including deposits, credit card contributions, and stock gifts
Conduct monthly reconciliations
Assist with general maintenance of the general ledger and tax and audit activities
