Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive quality inspections at multiple stages of manufacturing
Evaluate production samples to verify material integrity and product consistency
Support and coordinate team efforts to keep production lines running smoothly and efficiently
Use precision measurement tools—including micrometers and Calypso software—for accurate assessments
Collect, analyze, and interpret quality-related data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to establish strong QA/QC protocols
Draft, update, and maintain policies, SOPs, manuals, and other QA documentation
Track and report key quality metrics, nonconformances, and root causes
Halt production when significant defects or risks are identified
Ensure all QA activities adhere to OSHA requirements
Document findings, prepare reports, and present recommendations to management
Train and support team members on quality standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and methodologies
Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret research and production data
Excellent attention to detail paired with solid problem-solving skills
Clear, effective communication—both written and verbal
Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar programs
