Responsibilities
Defining certification strategies and building certification plans in line with FAA and EASA requirements
Coordinating closely with FAA/EASA representatives and designees to secure approvals
Leading certification activities for aircraft interior products, including TSO/ETSO items
Planning and supporting certification test campaigns and ensuring compliance with airframer and regulatory requirements
Managing certification records, findings, and compliance documentation with a high level of rigor
Working with suppliers and test labs to keep certification aligned with program schedules
Identifying risks early, assessing their impact, and actively driving mitigation actions
Improving internal tools and processes to better track deliverables and certification maturity
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with aircraft interior products (seats, cabin equipment, monuments, etc.)
Solid exposure to TSO/ETSO certification and testing environments
A good command of Parts 21 and 25 and how they apply in real programs
The ability to prepare certification plans, test plans, and compliance documentation independently
Comfort interfacing directly with regulatory authorities and navigating approvals
A structured, proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple certification topics in parallel
