System Specialist - Industrial Air Compressors (CT)

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a defined geographic sales territory
Build long-term relationships with existing customers through regular site visits and consultative support
Identify expansion opportunities within current accounts
Proactively develop new business through cold calling, referrals, and lead follow-up
Leverage marketing initiatives, social selling tools, and prospecting strategies to generate pipeline
Plan and execute strategic sales calls by targeting key accounts and engaging multiple stakeholders
Work closely with internal resources including Inside Sales, Application Engineers, Vendors, and Marketing
Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, forecast activity, and track performance
Present solutions in person with confidence, integrity, and professionalism
Stay current on products, technical applications, and industry trends
Participate in ongoing training, seminars, and professional development opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
3+ years of industrial sales experience (Compressed Air or HVAC experience is a strong plus)
Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and sales technology
Ability to travel within the assigned territory (CT & MA) and attend occasional training seminars
Valid driver's license required
