They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Associate who will be responsible for process design, work instruction planning, and aircraft installation support, while collaborating with various teams to ensure designs are producible and meet cost and schedule targets.

Responsibilities
Process Design
Work Instruction Planning
Aircraft Installation Support of machining and quick change assembly planning
Evaluating designs for producibility
Developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations
Interface with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Programs, Product Safety and the supply base to resolve issues relating to production installation of harness and component assemblies
Generating work instructions and ordering tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of details, assemblies and installations
Work with the design engineers during basic and detail design phases to assure design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets
Qualification
Required
Strong foundation in engineering principles
Proficient in CAD software such as CATIA and SolidWorks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
Process Design
Work Instruction Planning
Aircraft Installation Support of machining and quick change assembly planning
Evaluating designs for producibility
Developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations
Interface with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Programs, Product Safety and the supply base

Ordering tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of details, assemblies and installations
Assuring design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets
Preferred
Familiarity in machining processes (turning, milling and grinding)
Planning of large assemblies
Familiarity with GD&T requirements
