Responsibilities

Develop understanding of Delta Faucet products and development processes
Assist design, specification, and implementation of product development projects. Support product development engineers in detailed product design, assembly, and testing
Assist product engineers with production part approval, implementation of product changes, and evaluation of non-conforming products
Complete training and use of CREO solid modeling tools in support of faucet component and assembly design and modifications
Participate in brainstorming meetings and idea creation events to conceptualize products to meet customer and market needs
Complete training and use of engineering test equipment in support of product evaluations per internal and external product specifications, requirements, and plumbing codes
Participate as member of cross-functional product development teams
Analyze product reliability through coordination of environmental, performance, and accelerated life cycle testing
As student gains more knowledge and experience, assume responsibility for product development activities from concept creation to design verification, tooling phase, model validation testing, and product launch

Required

Pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
The ideal candidate is a current freshman or sophomore with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A detail-oriented and proactive mindset, eager to learn and take on challenges
