Responsibilities
Designing and executing manual and automated test cases
Analyzing requirements, user stories (in Azure DevOps), and acceptance criteria to design effective, reusable test cases (including positive, negative, and boundary testing)
Demonstrable experience automating web applications using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment
Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion)
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases
Generating and documenting test plans and strategies
Generating testing reports and metrics
API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others
Writing SQL, P-SQL queries
Generating and acquiring test data
Ability to work in person in downtown Lansing 2 days a week
Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases
5+ years experience analyzing requirements, user stories (in Azure DevOps), and acceptance criteria to design effective, reusable test cases (including positive, negative, and boundary testing)
Demonstrable experience automating web applications using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar

Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Experience with ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc
