Responsibilities

High focus on safety and quality in assigned area and processes
Incorporate Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) with existing and new process development
Define and control production process including tooling, equipment, and training
Document and validate process changes within guidelines of the Quality Management System
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy
Support multiple internal customers simultaneously while balancing the demands of the business. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the business
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions
A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with medium risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Required

Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing + Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
Lean manufacturing experience
