$20/hr - $21/hrNorthWestern Energy is seeking an Intern Hydro Engineering to provide technical support to the Hydro Engineering team through various assignments. The intern will assist with estimating costs, project management, and drafting work while learning about hydroelectric dams and projects.

Responsibilities
Learn about hydroelectric dams and projects while assisting hydro engineering staff with various light engineering tasks
Research, scope, and develop cost estimates for potential future projects
Contribute to a variety of tasks assigned to hydro engineering including the collection of data at the hydroelectric sites
Support drafting work for various ongoing and future projects
Work closely with drafting, engineering and field personnel
Regular use of Word, Access, and Excel
Learn and use Adept drawing repository
Participate in organizational work meetings
Travel up to 10% of the time may be required
Lifting of material up to 35 pounds

Qualification
Required
Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Has successfully completed sophomore year or above
Must be in good academic standing
Must Provide GPA in Resume upon application

Drug Test: Required
Background Check: Required
Preferred
Engineering major required; Civil, Electrical or Mechanical preferred
Drafting experience preferred
Get Into Energy - Energy Industry Fundamental 2.0 certification is a plus
