Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, architecture, research and development of Molten Cloud’s core platform and applications
Interface with customers to gain a deeper understanding of media industry workflows
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction
Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences
Work closely with the Head of Product on bringing Molten Cloud’s product vision to market
Collaborate with the business and engineering teams to bring your designs to life
Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts
Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across the product
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design to drive innovation and improve design processes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders
Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with Python, Javascript, HTML and CSS is a bonus
Creative with an eye for design: You know when something doesn't look quite right and you are committed to your work down to the last pixel
Empathic: You are able to view the app and the task from the users point of view and understand, sympathize and advocate for a solution that best fits their needs
Analytical: you have a rigorous academic background and a proven ability to think original, train yourself on new skills and innovate to solve difficult problems
Entrepreneurial: you thrive in the startup environment, you take ownership of your work, you are passionate about ambitious ideas, you ask for help when needed and collaborate with teammates to leverage their complementary skill sets
