Responsibilities
Own assigned projects from concept through commissioning and closeout
Define project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation plans
Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
Manage capital budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and internal engineering standards
Promote a strong safety culture throughout design, construction, and startup phases
Source, evaluate, and manage contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers
Lead process improvements, plant modernization initiatives, and automation upgrades
Track project performance metrics and communicate progress to leadership
Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
5+ years of engineering project management experience in manufacturing environments
Demonstrated success delivering projects end-to-end
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proficiency with project management tools and documentation
Up to 30% travel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments
PMP or similar certification
