The Loan Operations Specialist will perform clerical and technical duties, monitor escrow disbursements, and maintain insurance for loan collateral while providing support to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Maintain escrow tracking. Disburse escrow payments for taxes and insurance. Process annual analysis of escrow accounts
Track and maintain insurance ticklers. Contact agents. Verify coverage and lienholder is acceptable
Track real estate tax payments
Manage loan vault. Ensure documents, loan files and credit files are organized and filed on a timely basis
Assist with mail distribution including the processing of loan payments
Assist the Loan Operations Manager and Chief Operations Officer with audits, exams, and projects
Research loan account issues or questions as needed
Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and regulations
Complete other duties as assigned

Required

Must possess good communications skills, both written and verbal, while relating to internal and external clients and contacts
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workday efficiently

Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
Conscientious, self-starter mentality
Ability to lift 5-10 pounds
Proficient in WORD and EXCEL

Preferred

Prior loan operations experience preferred but not required
