Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, providing technical guidance, performance management, and project leadership
Oversee the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support production objectives
Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve production issues, implement corrective actions, and improve process capability
Manage equipment selection, installation, validation, and maintenance planning to ensure reliable and safe operation of production lines
Support new product launches by developing process flows, tooling concepts, line layouts, work instructions, and PFMEAs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data‑driven methodologies to reduce costs, increase throughput, and enhance product quality
Ensure all processes comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Oversee documentation, standard work, process controls, and engineering change management
Develop and manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure plans, and long‑term manufacturing strategies
Collaborate with leadership on plant performance, process readiness, and strategic engineering initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
5–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of high‑volume manufacturing, process optimization, Lean/CI methodologies, and equipment integration
Proven experience with PFMEA, APQP, line balancing, and process documentation
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and drive measurable results
