Entry, Mid LevelPhoton Systems Inc. designs and builds advanced deep ultraviolet (DUV) light sources and instrumentation. They are seeking an Applications Engineer to develop, test, and support deep UV instruments and systems for customers in various manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities
Develop, test, and support deep UV instruments and systems used by customers in pharmaceutical, consumer electronics, and industrial manufacturing
System integration and performance testing
Running customer samples
Analyzing experimental data
Supporting customers with technical expertise
Refining product designs based on research findings and user feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams
Qualification
Required
Background in physics, chemistry, biology, or a related technical field
Experience with optical or laser-based systems
Experience designing and executing experiments for fluorescence and/or Raman instrumentation
Strong skills in data analysis, experimental laboratory work, and equipment calibration
Experience with hardware/software interfaces and an understanding of control systems
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and meet project timelines
Preferred
Prior experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
