Responsibilities
Join us as a Platform/DevOps Engineer on the Core Technology Platform team, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility
Collaborate with a talented team to build innovative, large-scale software solutions that elevate the customer ownership experience and drive technological progress
Own the entire automation lifecycle for software delivery, empowering developers to bring new features to life rapidly and enabling the business to realize value swiftly, all while ensuring our automotive software delivers exceptional quality and functionality across web, mobile, and connected vehicles
Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts
Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc
Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base
Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud-based DevOps
Experience of provisioning AWS Cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, Serverless Application Model
Experience supporting AI/ML platforms and workloads in a Platform DevOps environment, including deploying, automating, and operationalizing AI-powered applications or ML pipelines in AWS
Experience in setting up CI/CD for code build, test, deployment, and delivery in GitLab/ GitHub/Jenkins
Expertise in AWS foundation concepts: Networking, Security, Compute, Serverless, Containers, Monitoring, Application Reliability
Experience of working with the development team to come up with a secure, highly available, scalable, cost-effective AWS Cloud native solution
Experience working in the areas of application monitoring and troubleshooting
Expertise in coming up with cost-effective solutions
Strong leadership abilities in driving operational excellence and best engineering practices
Knowledge and passion for current trends and best practices in software development, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability
Familiarity with quality and deployment tools such as SonarQube, Argo CD, and GitHub Spot Runners
Preferred
Good team player with the ability to work with the team and partner teams throughout the software development lifecycle to achieve organizational goals
Have strong foundational knowledge in Cloud concepts, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Containers, Serverless
Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability issues
Able to provide hands-on technical guidance to other team members
Experience writing technical documents – AWS Architecture, Network Diagram
Very good understanding of CI/CD principles and cloud deployment strategies
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar tools is a plus
