Finance Associate
Bamboo Equity Partners is a financial services company based in St. Louis, Missouri, seeking a Finance Associate to support investment, tax, and financial reporting activities. Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisitions, recapitalizations, financing and development opportunities
Prepare projections, sensitivity analyses, and performance forecasts under direction from senior team members
Conduct market, financial, and operational due diligence to support investment decisions
Assist with tax compliance and reporting for fund- and asset-level entities
Support preparation and review of tax documents, including returns, 1099s, K-1s, and supporting schedules
Conduct research on tax regulations, partnership structures, depreciation, and real estate-related tax incentives
Help analyze the tax implications of cost-segregation, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and entity structuring
Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms as needed
Track financial performance of portfolio assets and assist with preparing ongoing performance updates
Support execution of transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, capital calls, and distributions
Assist with cash flow tracking, capital account updates, and reconciliations
Collaborate with Intelica Property Accounting, Intelica Property Management, Oakline Studio and Oakline Construction Group to gather and validate data
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for fund and asset-level entities
Support review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Help maintain internal controls, documentation, and analytical files
Assist in the preparation of investor reports, presentations, and communication materials
Support data analysis and reporting for investor queries and due diligence requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required
Strong analytical skills
Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and taxation

Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
1–4 years of experience in financial analysis, public accounting, tax, or real estate finance preferred
Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic tax concepts
Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel proficiency; strong skills in MS Office and Argus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
