Responsibilities
Monitor US and global futures markets, economic releases, and breaking market-moving events
Produce concise market updates (200–400 words) and in-depth analytical pieces (800–1,500 words)
Translate complex market movements and data into clear, actionable insights for a trading audience
Interpret reports such as CFTC Commitments of Traders, daily settlements, and open interest data
Ensure all content meets high editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, and compliance
Deliver content promptly, often under tight deadlines
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in financial writing, with published work samples
Ability to work independently, quickly, and accurately in a fast-moving news environment
Strong command of clear, concise, and professional financial language
Applicants must be authorized to work in the applicable country without sponsorship
Preferred
Demonstrated expertise in futures markets is a plus
Familiarity with economic calendars, exchange data, and market data tools (TradingView, Bloomberg, ICE, CME, etc.)
Basic knowledge of technical analysis and market structure
