Lead/StaffAmpstek is seeking a Release Execution Technical Engineer to manage comprehensive environment readiness for testing. The role involves leading technical meetings, coordinating deployment activities, and ensuring application stability through proactive monitoring and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Comprehensive environment management across all test environments, ensuring operational readiness of its integrations and neighbor services through proactive monitoring using dashboards, logs, and alerting systems dedicated to the application stability to the testing community
Operational readiness requires leading technical meetings with confidence in Strategic Platform architecture to coordinate deployment activities, drive process and automation enhancements and facilitate collaborative brainstorming sessions to solve complex technical challenges
Identifying and mitigating technical risks
Translating technical concepts for business audiences
Automated deployments in TeamCity and related configuration
Test data management for Guidewire PolicyCenter
Application and infrastructure optimization
Qualification
Required
Comprehensive environment management across all test environments
Operational readiness of integrations and neighbor services through proactive monitoring using dashboards, logs, and alerting systems
Leading technical meetings with confidence in Strategic Platform architecture
Coordinating deployment activities
Driving process and automation enhancements
Facilitating collaborative brainstorming sessions to solve complex technical challenges
Demonstrating critical thinking, natural curiosity, and unwavering accountability in problem-solving across all system components
Possessing business acumen proficiency to effectively communicate with leadership and business stakeholders
Some production release management experience
Some experience with Guidewire applications and integrations (plugins, APIs)
Understanding QA technologies (ie: Teiko, Term, Playwright)
Some experience in development and deployment tools (BitBucket, TeamCity, Git, Jenkins)
Development experience enabling code comprehension and troubleshooting across various platform technologies
Proficient in Agile Methodologies: Kanban, sprint planning, Scaled, Scrum
Proficient in Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with development, QA and business leaders
Proficient in Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating technical risks
Proficient in Stakeholder Communication: Translating technical concepts for business audiences
Proficient in Guidewire Suite: PolicyCenter
Proficient in Guidewire Cloud Platform: Understanding of Guidewire's SaaS architecture
Proficient in Guidewire Development: Gosu programming language, Studio IDE
Proficient in Integration Patterns: GW Integration Gateway, Bond Integration Interoperability Layer, Neighbor applications APIs
Proficient in Environment Maintenance: Automated deployments in TeamCity and related configuration
Proficient in Monitoring & Logging: Datadog, Watchtower, Grafana
Proficient in Data Management: Test data management for Guidewire PolicyCenter
Proficient in Performance Tuning: Application and infrastructure optimization
Proficient in CI/CD Pipeline Management: Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jenkins, Teiko
Proficient in Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy
