Advanced Configuration Management Associate

APR Consulting is working with a DoD/Aerospace client seeking an Advanced Configuration Management Associate. In this role, you will implement and maintain an Engineering Change Notice System, coordinating efforts across engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure proper documentation and control of changes.

Responsibilities

Implementing and maintaining an Engineering Change Notice System, including product improvements, repairs, and new product development
Coordinate the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure appropriate changes are documented and controlled
Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
Work across organizations with Engineering, Quality, Support and Manufacturing, to coordinate processes and design control

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, a technical field or equivalent experience is required
Experience in executing a Configuration Management/change control process in both a development and manufacturing environment
Excellent knowledge of industry and DOD standards, Hardware, and Software Configuration Management practices
Experience in change control boards, approval processes, and comment adjudication
Experience facilitating and conducting Configuration Management audits
Experience in the assessment of Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures
Ability to develop, control, and manage multiple product & allocated baselines
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) applications
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable/required within a reasonable period of time
Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
U.S. citizenship is required
