Principal Human Resources Business Partner
Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense technology company seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support their Global Surveillance Division. The HRBP will implement human capital strategies and provide support to program office leaders and employees across various HR functions, including talent management and organizational development.

Responsibilities
Implement human capital strategy in support of the Global Surveillance Division’s Autonomous Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Targeting (AISR&T) business unit
Provide Senior HR Business Partner support to program office leaders and employees
Consult on and assist in the implementation of HR strategy, programs, and policies across multiple client groups
Support talent identification, performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward and recognition, succession planning, organization and staff development, and leadership/bench strength development
Manage HR projects and demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, implement, and close multiple projects simultaneously
Serve as the business partner and consultant to internal client groups to help build organizational capability to meet division, sector, and strategic goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree AND 5 years of Human Resources experience OR a Master's degree AND 3 years of Human Resources experience
Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones as determined by business need
Must be willing and able to travel 10-15% of the time
Ability to drive HR initiatives (can start with a blank sheet, design a plan/program/process and execute on a timeline) locally and across the division
Strong relationship building skills; proven track record of building collaborative partnerships as the basis for being able to influence direction and drive change in partnership with HR, program & functional leadership
Strong consulting skills: ability to dissect the root cause or core problem to solve and bring appropriate solutions and resources to bear
Deep talent mindset coupled with practical experience in driving leader development, succession planning and talent retention strategies
Proven track record of being able to assess, diagnose and design creative and innovative organizational solutions
Strong analytical skills; ability to translate business strategy into implications for workforce (hiring, shaping, etc.)
