Learning and Development Specialist

Map Your Show is a company focused on client education and product promotion within the event management space. The Learning & Development Specialist will design and produce educational materials to enable clients to effectively use the MYS platform, while also developing engagement strategies and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a client education and engagement strategy that helps MYS users remain informed, successful, and confident in using platform capabilities
Develop creative approaches to keep clients engaged with MYS educational resources
Gather and incorporate client feedback to continuously improve the support section of the platform
Create on-demand learning materials, including videos, tutorials, and instructional documents
Develop scripts, visuals, and illustrations to enhance clarity and learning effectiveness
Produce and host live and recorded webinars to support product adoption
Serve as a liaison between Customer Success and other internal teams to ensure consistent knowledge sharing
Co-lead product training initiatives for the internal Customer Success team
Build and maintain quarterly reports on client engagement and behavior within the support section of the platform
Analyze usage data and deliver actionable insights to improve education strategy and content effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, communications, or a related field
3+ years of Learning & Development experience
Experience producing videos, including screen recordings, voiceovers, and basic video editing
Comfortable creating content for and hosting live and recorded webinars
Experience working with learning management systems (e.g., WalkMe), including: Organizing and categorizing education materials, Strategic in-platform placement, Keyword and search management, Monitoring engagement metrics and optimizing user experience
Strong copywriting, proofreading, and grammatical skills
Professional demeanor, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative working style
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop) and other graphic design tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
