Responsibilities
Maintaining awareness of all systems within your scope of responsibility
Understanding the sensitive data stored, transmitted, or processed by those systems
Enforcing core security principles such as least privilege and least functionality
Recognizing potential information security incidents and understanding your role in incident response
Design information systems that align with user needs and the organization’s overall IT architecture
Lead and contribute to complex, high-impact projects with strategic importance
Apply deep technical expertise to develop highly optimized systems and processes
Serve as a mentor and coach to less experienced team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum three years relevant information experience
Obtain application system certification; pass all certifications within three attempts for each test or project
Proficient with workflows, application product function, design and build expertise
Strong analytical skills for new functions, problem resolution and support of the application product
Proficient in ITS processes to include but not limited to analysis, design, build, and testing and change control
Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
Understands and can apply knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, patient attribution, HEDIS and other quality details, and federal and state regulatory requirements
Ability to analyze and resolve issues at a detailed level, researching requests for reports, data reconciliation, data distribution and user support
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to plan and organize work
Ability to travel to other Novant Health facilities on occasion
Preferred
4 Year / Bachelors Degree
EPIC Professional Billing certification strongly preferred
