Responsibilities
Directing and managing an integrated communications strategy supporting that helps the overall Division and the various units within the Division (Benefits, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition/Recruitment, Organizational and Professional Development, International Services, Classification and Compensation and Operations, Services and Systems) achieve its specific objectives through communications to University Leadership, HR Contacts, supervisors, current and potential employees within the perimeters of the university’s branding and communication policies
Creates and develops web content and print content that supports the mission of the Division, communicates official HR actions, and disseminates best practices in human resource management
The Communications Director will collaborate on projects prioritized by the Division with colleagues within the Division of Human Resources and at times, across the university
Qualification
Required

Creates and develops web content and print content that supports the mission of the Division, communicates official HR actions, and disseminates best practices in human resource management
The Communications Director will collaborate on projects prioritized by the Division with colleagues within the Division of Human Resources and at times, across the university
Communicate in an exceptional manner both orally and in writing
Excellent skills in researching, proofing and knowledge of grammar and punctuation
Knowledge of developing a communication and marketing strategy for HR and tools for implementation
Proven record of working effectively with a diverse team
Well organized and shows attention to detail
Proactive
Has excellent judgement
Excellent technical skills and working knowledge of websites, social media, and understanding of AI and Google analytics
Manages numerous ongoing tasks despite interruption and meets deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Prefer experience in change management
Prefer photography and video editing skills
