Responsibilities

Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations
Installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products
Updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment
Build and maintain effective relationships with our customers
Provide them with onsite training

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 10 years of relevant experience and 2 years of experience in a lead role
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Advanced experience with the practical application of troubleshooting techniques
Advanced electrical wiring skills
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations
Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
Hours of operations are working 72 hour work week (6 days)

Preferred

Prior experience in a Lead role; the ability to mentor, train, guide and inspect the work of subordinates
Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
