Responsibilities

Develops sampling plans and procedures for monitoring product certification decisions
Independently evaluates the effectiveness of substantive unit programs and processes in meeting their established goals and objectives
Develops recommendations to correct deficiencies or suggest program or process improvements for the organization
Plans and designs procedures to improve product and service quality
Develops and administers a system of internal audits, evaluations, and checklists designed to ensure conformance with squadron mission
Collectively evaluates management effectiveness, performance and technical proficiency of assigned personnel, equipment, and systems condition
Coordinates and/or conducts management studies of organization, staffing, work measurement, methods, or procedures
Monitors all unit standardization/evaluation type programs ensuring adherence to all requirements defined in USAF, ANG, and other applicable directives
Performs cost-benefit and task analysis to seek more efficient and effective means and methods to achieve desired results
Provides organization management with factual, objective assessments of the unit’s ability to perform the mission
Advises employees, supervisors, and managers on the evaluation of basic program policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures
Provides the commander and supervisors with factual, objective assessments of a section’s ability to perform the mission and develops recommendations for needed improvements
Develops process, management, administrative, and technical evaluation plans for implementation by managers
Manages the evaluation program to ensure required actions are tracked and completed
Implements ANG policy relating to systems storage requirements
Conducts studies to ensure ground industrial safety, fire prevention and security standards are being followed
Makes recommendations, reviews responses and ensures that corrective actions are performed
Responsible for development of training programs for assigned drill status personnel
Plans and schedules training activities for assigned Drill Status Guard members
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge
Must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level that demonstrates your ability to analyze existing technology, formulate or modify plans to enhance functional users' Information Technology (IT)/communications status, and deal with a variety of problems and conditions associated with changing technology and its applications; conduct feasibility studies, perform cost analysis, and make recommendations to managers on how best to improve the IT communications posture; and evaluate the impact of new policy on current programs and modify, develop or recommend changes, which ensure compliance and responsiveness
The employee must obtain and maintain at a minimum a Secret security clearance
Incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and maintain certifications per DoD Directive8570.1-M,AR 25-2, and as detailed in the Information Assurance (IA) Training and Certification Best Business Practice (BBP)
United States Citizenship is required
