Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the procurement and engineering teams on quality requirements
Analyze supply chain risks to enact proactive risk management initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards from Honeywell and its customers
Own and conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement
Drive supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance improvement and resolve quality issues
Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Build a strong relationship with suppliers, engineering, and operations
Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership
Ensures activities and items are in compliance with Honeywell quality assurance standards applicable government regulations and customers’ requirements
Proactively reviews suppliers, assess operational gaps to identify risks and takes systematic actions to develop a world class supplier
Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations
Leads and facilitates multi-disciplined RCCA and problem-solving teams

Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in direct Supplier Quality Engineering
3+ years' experience in a fast-pace manufacturing environment
2+ years experience operating under a 3rd party certified Quality Management System i.e. AS9100/ISO9001
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external customers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
MBA or post graduate degree preferred
Able to focus priorities to best impact quality metrics
Experience in collaborating with technical teams
ASC Certification
Six Sigma Greenbelt desired
Experience in Aerospace
