Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and integration solutions that ensure seamless data flow across systems
Develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT processes—driving innovation and pushing the business forward
Create and maintain source-to-target mapping and detailed ELT documentation
Skilled in data analysis, mapping, and troubleshooting across all stages of the ELT process
Provide accurate estimates for ELT tasks and recommend process improvements
Participate in production on-call support rotation for ETL processing
Qualification
Required
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
3+ years of hands-on experience with ETL for data integration and transformation
3+ years of experience writing and tuning complex SQLs, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and error trapping
3+ years of experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testing and data validation
Experience with Matillion platform
Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda functions and data pipeline orchestration
Proven experience implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) strategies
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Experience with unit testing for ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality frameworks
Strong ability to write complex queries and optimize for large-scale datasets
Experience with job optimization, and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead small projects
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps principles
