Responsibilities
Take full ownership for all aspects of bi-weekly payroll processing for roughly ~1,000 employees in a number of different states while serving as a supportive, hands-on leader as you guide a small but mighty team
This company has recently successfully implemented Workday (Human Capital Management) as their payroll platform and they are eager to identify an individual who is familiar with Workday
You will be responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a team of detailed payroll professionals with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and culture building
Work closely with both accounting and HR leaders who are wonderful people and will empower you while also having an open door policy
Enjoy a challenging, yet, manageable and sustainable workload that will allow you to settle into this position and company long term
Qualification
Required
Experience in payroll processing for roughly ~1,000 employees in a number of different states
Ability to take full ownership for all aspects of bi-weekly payroll processing
Experience in hiring, developing, and leading a team of payroll professionals
Focus on coaching, mentoring, and culture building
Ability to work closely with accounting and HR leaders
Eagerness to learn and take pride in holding the bar high
Passion for accuracy and people development
Preferred
Familiarity with Workday (Human Capital Management) as their payroll platform
