Responsibilities

Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer
Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
Attends and leads program corrective action meeting, identifies trends, assists in problem resolution and ensures responsible parties meet commitments
Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes the disposition of non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence
Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards
Interfaces with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues
Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
Makes the final decision on acceptability of product

Required

Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited college
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Preferred

1 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience
Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action development
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma application
J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization
