Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Support accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes, including invoice processing and collections
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals and adjustments
Help prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic GAAP principles
Collaborate with the team on audits, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent or soon to be graduates encouraged to apply) – Please include your anticipated graduation date on your application
0-2 years of relevant experience (internships in accounting or finance are a plus)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar) is preferred but not required-we provide training
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Familiarity with GAAP
Experience with data entry or financial software
